Since the Middle ages, the Big Bell of Bordeaux mark the entrance in the Saint-Paul district. It’s a historical popular place. Here the Saint Jacques de Compostelle pilgrims meet the tourists to enjoy shopping and restaurants. You can spend great time here, sitting on a cozy terrace and enjoying its unique architecture and historical ambiance. Once Montaigne himself was having strolls round the district. He used to study here and in XVI he twice became the city Mayor.
