Croix Blanche

Before it became one of Bordeaux districts, Croix Blanche used to be a part of the suburbs. Bordeaux was getting bigger, and at some point Croix Blanche was attached to the city.

During XIX and XX the number of mansions, built in the Art-deco style considerably increased. That gives the district a unique authentic look. Being situated very close to the city center, the district is very popular, but peaceful, family atmosphere still reigns here.

Here you can check out a famous restaurant Julien Cruège, which was included in the Michelin restaurant guide in 2020. (https://guide.michelin.com/fr/fr/nouvelle-aquitaine/bordeaux/restaurant/julien-cruege).
